Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do when using Makora(the “Service”). It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to this AUP. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.
1. Prohibited activities
You may not use the Service to do, attempt, enable, or facilitate any of the following:
- Illegal activity — anything that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Fraud & deception — scams, fraudulent schemes, fake storefronts, or deceptive impersonation of any person or organization.
- Phishing & credential theft — building or hosting pages, emails, or tools designed to harvest credentials, payment details, or other sensitive information.
- Malware & exploits — creating, distributing, or deploying viruses, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious code, or tooling for unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Spam & abuse of messaging — generating or sending unsolicited bulk messages or content.
- Intellectual-property infringement — using content you do not have the right to use, or infringing copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
- Harmful or hateful content — content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence, or that is unlawfully hateful or discriminatory.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — strictly prohibited and reported to the appropriate authorities. Zero tolerance.
- Privacy violations — doxxing, unlawful surveillance, or processing personal data without a lawful basis.
2. Platform & security abuse
- Do not bypass, disable, or attempt to circumvent credits, rate limits, authentication, or other security and usage controls.
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written consent, or breach any security or authentication measures.
- Do not access or use the Service through automated scraping, or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
- Do not reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service except as expressly permitted by your plan.
- Do not use the Service to compete with or recreate the Service.
3. Misuse of AI features
- Do not use generated output to build or operate services whose primary purpose is fraud, phishing, malware, or other prohibited activity.
- Do not attempt to use the Service to generate malicious code or to defeat the safety measures of the underlying AI provider.
- Do not present AI-generated content as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.
4. Your deployments
You are responsible for anything you build, publish, or deploy using the Service, including ensuring it complies with this AUP, applicable law, and the terms of any provider you deploy to. Generated output may contain errors or insecure patterns and must be reviewed before it goes live (see our AI-generated content disclaimer).
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, limiting or suspending features, terminating accounts, and cooperating with law enforcement. Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.
